Due Diligence is a blog site for anyone who has just awoken from a coma and needs to get caught up on current events as soon as possible. It is dedicated to the proposition that there was a true disturbance in the force for goodness and light between the years 2000 and 2008. This disturbance in the force absolutely needed to be reported, detailed, chronicled, saved, recorded, and preserved for posterity. Due diligence is for those interested in arts and sciences, history, politics, economics, and current events. This site was ultimately motivated in the time of the 2008 US election, but began with inspiration caused by the meltdown of the financial markets on September 14, 2008. Due diligence attempts to document and express an opinion on current events as they unfold, but sometimes it inadvertently acts as a forecast into the future.
